The Auburn Police Department posted the video. On its Twitter page Monday and asked for the public’s help in identifying the man. In the footage, the man grabs the woman’s hand as she gives him what appears to be money. Police said the man “attempted to pull the victim through the window using a looped ziptie device.”
The woman waved her hand back and the man left in a pickup truck.
The suspect has a tattoo on his left arm that appears to read “Chevrolet,” police said.
