Star India wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant on Monday. Expressed gratitude to Rajat Kumar and Nishu Kumar. The youngsters who helped him after he met with a car accident and ensured he reached the hospital safely, calling them “two heroes”.
Rishabh took to Twitter and posted a picture of the two men standing with his mother. “I may not be able to thank everyone
personally. But I must acknowledge these two heroes who helped me during my accident and ensured that I reached the hospital safely. Thank you, Rajat Kumar and Nishu Kumar. I will be forever grateful and indebted. ,” Pant tweeted.

Earlier today, Pant thanked all his fans and well-wishers for their support and well wishes as. He continues to undergo treatment after meeting with a car accident last year.
Pant said his surgery was a success and his “road to recovery” has begun. He thanked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and government authorities for their “unbelievable support”.
“I am humbled and grateful for all the support and well wishes. I am happy to inform you that my surgery was a success. The road to recovery has begun and I am ready for the challenges ahead. Thanks to @BCCI, @JayShah and government authorities for their incredible support,” Pant tweeted.
“From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank all my fans, teammates, doctors and physios for your kind words and encouragement. Looking forward to seeing you all on the field. #grateful #blessed,” Pant added in another tweet.
Notably, Pant is expected to be out of the cricket field for most of 2023 and is expected to miss several major competitions, including the IPL.
According to a medical update given to the BCCI about Pant surviving. The horrific accident on December 30, Pant tore three major ligaments in his knee. According to ESPNcricinfo, two of them have already undergone reconstruction. And the third has surgery scheduled for six weeks from now.
His chances of being selected for the ODI World Cup in India in October-November.
Pant underwent a successful knee surgery in early January.
