Georgia officials seek public’s help to identify dismembered woman found last month

The dismembered body of a woman. Who has not yet been identified was found in southeast Georgia last month. And officials are asking for the public’s help in determining who she was.

Forensic artists’ renderings were released of a woman between the ages of 20. And 50 who may have been the victim of a homicide, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Thursday.

Georgia officials said the woman was found in the woods Dec. 2 at a hunting club in Riseboro, Liberty County, about 100 miles north of Jacksonville, Florida.

More remains were discovered within a three-mile radius. On hunting club property in Liberty County, as well as McIntosh County. Further testing determined that the remains were placed. The area on or around November 27, 2022,” the bureau said.

The woman had no scars, marks or tattoos. Agency officials in Georgia said he had a single tooth implanted in his upper right jaw.

Georgia officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying a dismembered woman found last month. The woman is about 5-10, weighs 185 to 200 pounds and has brown hair and eyes, Georgia officials said.
