Biryani is the favorite of Indians when it comes to ordering food online. We say this so emphatically because a recent Zomato report revealed that biryani was the most ordered food in 2022 and the year before. An average of 137 Biryani orders per minute! So, when a girl in Mumbai picks up her phone to order food, she immediately opts for biryani. But in his drunken state, he accidentally ordered it from a different state. What happened was quite interesting.
Apparently, the drunk girl from Mumbai mistakenly ordered biryani from Meghna Foods restaurant in Bangalore, which cost her Rs 2500. He took a screenshot of his order and shared it on Twitter. “Did I order Biryani worth INR 2500 from Bangalore?” Girl with the username @subii captioned the post.

Other users were quite amused by the post. Some of them asked how Zomato took the order. And the food delivery app took it as an opportunity to launch ‘Zomato Legends’ – an intercity delivery service.
Later, when @subii got his order, he even shared a picture of his meal which consisted of biryani, salan, raita and chips. He joked, “Best decision ever @zomato, where’s my paycheck?”
