Bus crash kills at least 41 in southern Pakistan

More than 40 people were killed when a bus fell into a ditch. And caught fire in Pakistan’s southern Balochistan province on Sunday, officials said.

District police official Israr Umrani told Reuters 41 bodies were recovered from the rubble. Some burned beyond recognition.

The bus, carrying about 48 people, crashed on. Its way from Balochistan’s capital Quetta to the southern city of Karachi, officials said. More than 40 people were killed when a bus fell into a ditch.

Dozens of people were combing through the rubble. Footage shared by the Edhi Foundation aid. And emergency response agency showed. And ambulance crews were carrying a body from the rubble.
