Four others were injured Monday while fleeing violence in Fort Pierce, police said.
Four others were injured in the escape around 5:30 pm. St. Lucie County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Suzanne Woodward said. The violence was in the area of Avenue M and 13th Street.
Sheriff’s officials said this was not a mass shooting in which. The gunshot victims were randomly struck. More information is expected to be released later in the evening.
The two men got into an argument before the shooting, WPTV reported. No suspects were taken into custody, the station said.
The car show was listed as part of the city’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration.
